We know your time is valuable and your schedule is full, so we made it easy. We combined two must-attend events into one productive, fun-filled day. Knock out six hours of required continuing education, then shift gears at the Business Partner Expo. Registration

Start your day by completing required 6 hours - Legal, Fair Housing, and Electives Con-Ed - then, unwind while having a great time at the Business Partner Expo. Registration is available in the GKAR Member Login. The deadline for registration is Monday, April 6^th, 2026.

Cost: Complimentary! This program is a GKAR Member Benefit.

Presenters

Becky Berke, Esq., Director of Legal Education: Michigan REALTORS®

Becky Berke serves as the Director of Legal Education for the Michigan Realtors®. She began her role in 2016 after acting as a public policy intern for Senator Jim Stamas, the Senate Majority Public Policy Office, and the Michigan Realtors®. Becky earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan Technological University and her law degree from the Michigan State University College of Law. In her role at Michigan Realtors®, Becky’s concentration focuses on legal continuing education course development, legal and legislative research, and Fair Housing education and outreach.

Brian Westrin, Esq., General Counsel: Michigan REALTORS®

Brian Westrin serves as Michigan Realtors® General Counsel. He did his undergraduate work at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and earned his law degree at Michigan State University School of Law, graduating in 2004. His role at Michigan Realtors® encompasses a broad concentration in Real Estate law, including Agency, Offer & Acceptance, Fair Housing Law and Education, as well as RESPA. Brian and his colleague Becky Berke regularly author articles and produce content for member legal education – like the Letter of the Law and From the Mailbag. Brian also facilitates meetings of the Realtors® Legal Action Committee and handles all requests made for legal action fund assistance.

Kristen Nitz, Devon Title

Kristen Nitz is a marketing specialist and business strategist at Devon Title Agency, where she helps real estate professionals elevate their marketing and grow their business. With a strong foundation in marketing and a passion for community engagement, she designs impactful campaigns, coaches professionals, and delivers actionable insights. A Michigan State University graduate, Kristen now focuses on strengthening agents’ digital presence, marketing skills, and business strategy. She teaches hands-on courses in SEO, web presence, Canva, ChatGPT, and LinkedIn, equipping attendees with practical tools they can implement immediately.

Thomas W. Cronkright II, CertifID: Co-Founder & Executive Chairman, and CEO: Sun Title

Tom Cronkright is the Executive Chairman of CertifID, a technology platform designed to safeguard electronic payments from fraud. He co-founded the company in response to a wire fraud he experienced and the rising instances of real estate wire fraud. He also serves as the CEO of Sun Title, a leading title agency in Michigan. Tom is a licensed attorney, real estate broker, title insurance producer and nationally recognized expert on cybersecurity and wire fraud.

Please keep your parking validation with you, as it is required for exit. Replacement passes are not available, and lost passes will require payment upon exit.
