REALTOR^® of the Year Nominations for 2022, will be accepted September 1^st - September 15^th, 2021, on GKAR.com. The GKAR  REALTOR^® of the Year is recognized by their peers for their contributions to the real estate profession and to the greater Kalamazoo community.

The Philip P. Perry Humanitarian Award honors the legacy of Philip. P. Perry, who devoted his lifetime to selfless humanitarian efforts. Visit GKAR.com to submit a nomination for the 2022 recipient.

The annual GKAR Election will be held from 8:00 am, on Tuesday, September 21^st, 2021 through 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 23^rd, 2021, and will be held electronically. All REALTOR^® Members in good standing are eligible to run for any open position.

Officer elections were held at the Michigan REALTORS^® Board of Directors meeting on Thursday, June 10^th, 2021. Pursuant to Michigan Realtors® Bylaws, President-Elect James Iodice will automatically assume the office of President in 2022. Current Treasurer, Natalie Rowe was unanimously elected as President-Elect. With a majority vote being present, Sandi Smith was elected as the 2022 Treasurer.
