If at any time the state decides to audit you, they will require you to prove you have completed the Continuing Education requirements for the current cycle. It is strongly recommended that licensees be proactive in tracking their Continuing Education credits since audits affect at least 10 percent of licensees annually! |
"A licensee must retain evidence acceptable to the Department that demonstrates he or she has met the CE requirements for at least 4 years after the date of that certification, and must produce that evidence at the request of the Department." - LARA |
If you don't track your Continuing Education credits, you put yourself at risk for fines or for your license to lapse, both of which can really cost you!
