# Continuing Education

GKAR offers Real Estate Continuing Education (CE) courses which are CE Marketplace Certified. Attendees must sit for the entire course to receive credit. No partial credit is available.

### Understanding Your Con-Ed Requirements

| **What's Changed?** Instead of universal continuing education cycles, LARA has instituted individualized 3-year cycles which are based on the date that your real estate license was issued or renewed. Moving forward, your deadline for taking continuing education credits is based on this anniversary date, which makes tracking your continuing education credits more important than ever. Remember! You must complete a minimum of two (2) legal credit hours annually, one (1) Fair Housing credit, AND over the course of your 3-year cycle, you must complete an additional nine (9) elective credit hours. We recommend spreading out your elective credit hours evenly, so that you do not end up with too many to complete as the end of your 3-year cycle approaches.
