GKAR *MLS Rules and Regulations* states a listing must be placed in the MLS within one business day of public marketing. Properties may not be advertised any more than one business day before it is made active in the MLS. Advertising of a property with or without the address is considered public marketing. Whether it be another broker or a professional photographer, it is always best practice to obtain written permission to use a photo on the MLS that you have not taken yourself. Aside from an MLS violation, it could be a copyright infringement to use a photo that is not legally yours. That will mean the use of SentriCards® will be discontinued by the end of the year. As of April 1st, 2021, SentriLock, will no longer be able to create new SentriCards®. This will result in GKAR no longer being able to reissue replacement SentriCards for damaged or lost cards. To search the Realcomp MLS you can select “Realcomp” in the “MLS of” search field, when conducting a Quick Search. Your search results will then include only listings from Realcomp. MichRIC® also has data share agreements with The Water Wonderland Board of REALTORS®, MiRealSource, and The Greater Lansing Association of REALTORS®.
