GKAR Emeritus Benefit

The Greater Kalamazoo Association of REALTORS® (GKAR) Emeritus benefit was created in September 2020, at the request of Membership. The benefit is intended to honor REALTORS® who have been a Member of GKAR for a cumulative total of 40 years.

  • Members must apply for the benefit on or before August 10th in the year they would achieve 40 years of Membership, for local dues to be waived for the following year.
  • Once a Member reaches that milestone, GKAR shall waive local dues for subsequent years for those Members.
  • Upon approval, the Member will be issued a letter, certificate, and a 40-year lapel pin to be presented at the annual Installation and State of the Association Program.
  • If you would prefer these items are mailed to you and not presented at the annual Installation and State of the Association Program, please indicate so in your application.
